Position HighlightsDepartment:  Public RelationsHours: 40 hours per weekPosition SummaryJob Summary:As a Videographer, you will play a pivotal role in creating and editing videos that captivate and promote our brand for both internal and external stakeholders. You will collaborate with the Public Relations, Marketing team to develop video concepts, shoot, and edit content as directed by Director of Public Relations.Collaborate with internal teams to conceptualize and script compelling video content that aligns with Middlesex Health’s brand and business goals ie: patient stories, department sizzle reels, in-house messaging, staff spotlights, in-house medical training, HR videos, social media and limited commercials.Capture high-quality video and audio footage during on-site and off-site shoots.Edit video and sound materials - using animation and special effects - to create polished final products that resonate with our audience.Develop storyboards, creative briefs, production schedules, and perform topical research in advance of filming opportunitiesCoordinate with the marketing team to optimize video content for social media, web, and other platforms.Ensure consistent branding across all video materials.Manage video libraries and assist in the distribution strategy across various platforms.Stay up-to-date with the latest video trends, techniques, and technologies Adheres to all Core Values (Compassion, Pursue Excellence, Cooperation and Collaboration, Upholds Honesty, and Supports Innovation).Adheres to all Absolutes (Privacy and Confidentiality, Professional Appearance, and Responsibility and Commitment).Other job-related duties as assigned.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree in Film, Media, Communications, or a related field (equivalent hands-on professional experience also accepted)2-4+ years of experience working in professional video production and videographySkilled in operating industry-standard camera systems (such as Sony and Canon) and audio gear (including XLR setups, lavaliers, and boom microphones)Strong proficiency with video editing software, specifically Adobe Premiere ProFamiliarity with the Adobe Creative Suite ecosystem (After Effects, Photoshop, Lightroom)Deep understanding of lighting setups, frame composition, and visual storytelling methodsProven capability to capture high-quality audio in diverse environmentsCompetency in managing video projects from initial pre-production through final post-productionExcellent organizational habits and the ability to hit deadlines in a fast-paced settingAbility to work independently as well as partner collaboratively with marketing and creative teamsMust submit a portfolio or demo reel displaying relevant work Comprehensive Benefits OfferedCompetitive and affordable benefits packageShift DifferentialsContinuing Education assistanceTuition reimbursementStudent Loan reliefQuick commute access from I-84, Route 9 and surrounding areasAbout Middlesex HealthThe Smarter Choice for your Career!Come join one of Connecticut’s Top Workplaces, and a Magnet designated organization!
