Job Description

At Merrimack Health, we are committed to pay transparency and equity. The base salary range for this position is $37.90 -$81.44, excluding fringe benefits and potential bonuses.
Your final base salary will be determined based on your education, experience, licensure, and internal equity considerations. Offers are typically made below the top of the range to support future salary growth.
Eligible employees may also participate in comprehensive benefits, including health coverage, paid time off, and wage increase programs, depending on position type (full-time, part-time, or per diem) and applicable eligibility criteria.
We are looking for RNs to join LGH's Special Care Nursery. Our Nursery is currently designated as a Level II program by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. That means we offer expert staff and the latest technology to care for babies who need an added level of support, including those born prematurely, twins and triplets, or infants with certain metabolic conditions.
Babies that may require special care nursing include:
Babies born prematurely
Twins and triplets
Infants with certain metabolic conditions
The nursery offers 24/7 coverage by a neonatologist—a pediatric specialist whose focus and expertise is in the care of newborn infants. In addition, all the nurses who staff our Special Care Nursery are registered nurses with advanced training and education in the treatment of infants. We also employ pediatric hospitalists from Tufts Children's Hospital.
This position will require:
Massachusetts RN licensure with a Bachelor's Degree, preferably a Bachelor of Science in Nursing
Current Lawrence General Registered Nurses who are MNA members are also qualified to apply. Level II Nursery experience and NRP Certification required. Every other weekend and rotation.
