Location:LMH - Medical Office Building -2780 Cleveland AveFort Myers FL 33901Department: LPG GME FM LEEWork Type: Full TimeShift: Shift 1/8:00:00AM to 4:30:00PM, M-FMinimum to Midpoint Pay Rate:$22.73 - $28.41 / hourSummaryThis position oversees the patient experience at assigned practice(s). Responsible for overall effective performance of practice including hands on leadership, workflow development, patient schedule management, provider and staff engagement, patient experience, financial performance and billing compliance. Assists Practice Director with operational plans and budgets (capital and operations) and implements performance improvement strategies within the practice as agreed upon by Practice Director. This position is responsible for assisting with the recruitment, development and supervision of staff. Ability to apply effective communication strategies to solve and facilitate simple and complex situations which enhance the culture and performance of the practice. Performs all duties in a manner which promotes teamwork and reflects the mission and values of Lee Health. Responsible for practice site with up to 3 providers. Assumes leadership role in absence of the managers.RequirementsEducation: Two years of formal education beyond high school. Associates degree preferred.Experience: A minimum of 1 year of healthcare leadership experience preferred. Physician office experience preferred.Certification: N/ALicense: N/AOther: Computer proficiency including word-processing and spreadsheet applications and knowledge of electronic health record and billing software applications. Excellent written and oral communications skills including superb interpersonal skills and be able to handle difficult conversations effectively. Able to express opinions openly and honestly and provide feedback in a timely and productive manner. Ability to examine and re-engineer operations and workflows and report operational metrics to staff and providers.Flexibility to accommodate changes in workload assignments and react calmly and effectively in stressful situations.
