Your skills will directly impact lives in critical moments, whether it's supporting a newborn's first breath or responding to an emergency code. ##### **What You 'll Do** * ##### **Deliver Expert Care** - Administer oxygen therapy, medications, and bronchial hygiene treatments to help patients breathe easier and recover faster. * ##### **Be a Critical Lifeline** - Provide airway maintenance, including endotracheal intubation, and expertly manage mechanical ventilation (both invasive and non-invasive). * ##### **Assess & Act** - Evaluate each patient's condition and tailor care plans to address urgent and evolving respiratory needs. * ##### **Educate & Empower** - Teach patients how to manage chronic lung conditions, giving them the tools to improve their quality of life. * ##### **Work at the Frontline of Emergencies** - Serve on Rapid Response, Code Blue, and Trauma Teams, bringing calm expertise to high-pressure situations. * ##### **Support Specialized Procedures** - Acquire and analyze arterial blood gases, assist with bronchoscopies, and ensure equipment is cleaned and maintained to the highest standard. ##### **What We 're Looking For** * ##### **Education:** Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program (or equivalent). * ##### **Experience:** Relevant experience in the field is preferred. * ##### **Licensure:** Licensed by the Maryland Board of Physicians as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.
