Pharmacy Technician - Inpatient

##### Join our dynamic pharmacy team as a Pharmacy Technician, where you'll play a vital role in supporting medication distribution for both inpatient and outpatient care. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced hospital environment, values precision, and is passionate about patient safety and care. ##### **What You 'll Do** * ##### Assist pharmacists in preparing and delivering medications accurately and efficiently * ##### Maintain inventory systems including Pyxis stock and CII Safe * ##### Repackage medications and support unit dose systems * ##### Perform monthly medication checks to ensure quality and compliance * ##### Clean and disinfect the pharmacy clean room per established protocols * ##### Communicate effectively with healthcare providers and patients * ##### Uphold safety standards and regulatory compliance (Joint Commission, Maryland Board of Pharmacy, USP 795/800) * ##### Participate in continuous process improvement initiatives ##### **Qualifications** * ##### High School Diploma or GED (required) * ##### Previous pharmacy technician experience (preferred) * ##### Registered Maryland Board of Pharmacy Technician (required) * ##### National Certification (preferred) * ##### Must obtain Maryland license within 30 days if licensed in another state * ##### Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint * ##### Strong understanding of medical terminology ##### **Physical & Mental Requirements** ##### This role requires frequent standing, walking, lifting (up to 50 lbs.), and fine hand/eye coordination.
