Job Summary#HireNRHS  Job SummaryAccesses the patient's conditionPerforms diagnostic ultrasound proceduresAssists physicians with proceduresAssists in the maintenance of patient ultrasound exam information.Assists in maintaining the unit in working order EducationAssociates degree in Ultrasound or equivalent as defined by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS),ExperienceOne year of experience preferred.Licensure/CertificationAmerican Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) registered or registry eligible. Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or Registered Vascular Sonographer (RVS) registered or registry eligible. Must obtain Vascular registry within 1 year of hiring.Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training is required during orientation prior to patient care.
