Ocean Beach Health is seeking a **Radiologic Technologist with a strong interest or experience in Mammography** to join our close-knit imaging team. If you're passionate about women's health, patient-centered care, and meaningful work, this role is for you.

### **Position Summary**

This position is **mammography-focused** , with opportunities to support additional imaging modalities based on training and department needs.

You will:

* Perform high-quality **screening and diagnostic mammography exams**

* Educate and support patients through often stressful or emotional appointments

* Ensure patient comfort, safety, and dignity throughout the exam process

* Collaborate closely with radiologists and providers to deliver accurate, timely results

* Maintain compliance with radiation safety and quality standards

* Prepare and assist patients for mammography and other imaging procedures as assigned

### **Key Responsibilities**

* Position patients accurately for mammographic imaging

* Select appropriate technical factors to produce optimal images

* Operate mammography and radiologic imaging equipment safely and effectively

* Provide radiation protection in accordance with safety standards

* Maintain accurate documentation and patient records

* Practice infection control and sterile techniques

* Support a culture of **patient-centered care, safety, and teamwork**

* Participate in on-call coverage for modalities in which you are trained, as needed

* Pursue continuing education and complete required training on time

### **Qualifications**

* **ARRT certification** required (Mammography certification preferred or willingness to obtain)

* **Washington State Radiologic Technologist license** in good standing

* Current **CPR certification**

* Commitment to compassionate, patient-focused care

* Strong communication and teamwork skills
