Job Description
Oneida Health is currently seeking a
per-diem Ultrasound Technologist, with call,
to perform exams and procedures at both the Hospital and Imaging center. Must be on-call for emergent or urgent cases in our Emergency Department. Over the past year, this averages 2.95 calls per week. For on-call cases, you receive mileage and an hourly rate for a minimum of 2 hours. All applicants
must live within one hour of Oneida Health Hospital.
What You’ll be Great At:
Using your attention to detail and keen observation skills to evaluate images for technical and diagnostic quality.
Having a customer service attitude while interacting with patients regarding procedures.
Maintaining equipment and work area to hospital standards of quality and cleanliness.
Focusing on safety standards in operating equipment.
Maintaining and recording appropriate documentation regarding procedures according to established protocols.

Your Essential Qualifications:
Education:
Associate (Preferred)
Completion of an accredited Diagnostic Ultrasound Technology program (Required)
Certification:
RDMS Certification required
CPR/BLS certified
RVT, BR, or NT certification is a plus!
Experience
1+ year experience preferred, but not required.
