PATIENT ACCOUNT REP

SEEKING APPLICANTS WITH HOSPITAL BILLING AND COLLECTIONS EXPERIENCE
Position Summary:
Billers: Responsible for accurate and timely billing initial or subsequent submissions, ensuring that both facility and professional bill forms have been submitted. Follow-up: Responsible for ensuring accounts have been adjusted per the terms of applicable contracts. Responsible for ensuring the payer is in receipt of our claims and the collection of the outstanding balance due per the terms of our applicable contracts. May perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Six months' billing experience or recent billing course. Familiar with medical terminology. Strong PC skills (Microsoft applications). Basic office skills (fax, copy machine, multi-line telephone, data entry).
Preferred Qualifications:
Database experience.
Salary Range: $21.11 - $29.70 hourly.  Salary will be commensurate with experience.
