Full Time - with benefits Evening shift 2:00pm-10:30pm with rotating weekends Purpose of Job This position is responsible for maintaining a clean, healthy and welcoming environment in patient and non-patient areas to ensure that Ridgeview customers and families receive the highest quality of services in a caring and compassionate manner. Job Functions Cleans all patient and non patient areas to high standards cleanliness. Follows all infection control policies and standards to minimize the transmission of microorganisms. Follows proper use of cleaning chemicals and personal protection equipment for the safety of patients, Environmental Services Tech and staff. Promotes and maintains positive internal and external working relationships. Performs other duties as assigned. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Ability to serve patients in a friendly and efficient manner Ability to meet and maintain the necessary background checks as aligned with position functions Ability to communicate in the English language for effective written and verbal correspondence in order to complete job functions as mentioned above Ability to work autonomously and as a team Ability to perform strenuous work under time constraints Ability to pay close attention to detail Basic computer skills Ability to understand verbal and written instructions in the English language and respond accordingly in order to complete job functions as mentioned above Preferred Qualifications High School graduate or equivalent Previous cleaning experience (healthcare, hospitality, commercial etc.) Cognitive and Mental Demands Time Awareness - Frequent Writing - Seldom Initiation of Work - Frequent Memory - Frequent Receptiveness to Change - Occasional Reasoning - Frequent Required Sequences in Work - Frequent Problem Solving - Frequent Attentiveness Duration - Continuous Social Interactions - Occasional Mathematical Aptitude - Seldom Conflict Management - Seldom Reading - Seldom Detail Oriented - Frequent Link to Employee Health Physical Demands Compensation Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation such as:  the requirements of the position, experience, education, knowledge, and skills along with location and internal equity.  Pay listed does not include any shift, weekend, or other differentials.
