JOB SUMMARY
/
PURPOSE A
ssists in the coordination of care for clinical research patients throughout multiple departments. Screens, consents, and enrolls patients based on study eligibility requirements. Collects and processes laboratory and other diagnostic tests from research patients. Works with investigators and sponsor to conduct and record study activities per protocol timelines. Collaborates with the study team to promote safe and ethical study conduct of clinical trials.

QUALIFICATIONS O
ne (1) of the following required: Associate degree in a health or science related field. Certified Medical Assistant/Registered Medical Assistant plus one (1) year experience in a position of similar responsibility/complexity. Experience or training in computer applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook required. Experience in healthcare or research preferred. Healthcare Provider Level
BLS
required within 60 days of hire. Experience with phlebotomy preferred.

Ability to operate applications, write software, set up functions, enter data, and manipulate and process information. Medical Terminology - Knowledge of medical records, procedures and terminology. Ability to read, interpret, and apply policies, procedures, laws, and regulations.
