JOB SUMMARY
/
PURPOSE P
rovides treatment based upon established plan of care for patients with wounds, fistulas, percutaneous tubes, ostomies, incontinence, and actual or potential skin breakdown. Serves as a resource and consultant to patients and nursing staff. Performs assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care provided. Collaborates with
WOCN
to implement changes in the plan of care.
DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION S
amaritan Wound Care treats acute or chronic wounds caused by diabetes, surgery, injury, poor blood flow and/or other problems. The scope of practice is physician driven and centered around wound, ostomy and continence care while maintaining additional adjunctive therapies such as vein medicine and hyperbaric medicine.

urrent unencumbered Oregon
RN
licensure required. Healthcare Provider Level
BLS
required.
BSN
preferred. Related certification in Wound Care preferred. Experience in acute care preferred.
