As a team member, you help fulfill our mission to make life better here for our community.Shadowing/Observation introduces an observer to specific healthcare career(s) through the supervised observation of a healthcare provider. The goal is to assist the observer with making a healthcare career choice.Shadowing/Observation introduces an observer to specific healthcare career(s) through the supervised observation of a healthcare provider maximum 40 hours within 30 days. The goal is to assist the observer with making a healthcare career choice.The observation experience is appropriate for:Individuals 16 or older (18 or older if shadowing request is for ICU, Emergency Department or the Operating Room)Individuals who are exploring healthcare careersShort term experiences (maximum of 40 hours, most shadows are 8-10 hours in total)Individuals applying for healthcare programs that are required to have shadow hours in order to apply for a program (this includes pre-med students)Requirements:2 MMR Immunizations OR a positive MMR titerA PPD current within the last 12 monthsWritten documentation of chicken pox OR immune varicella titer OR documentation of 2 varicella vaccinesFlu shot for current year (if shadowing/observing October-March)
