Job Description

Job Requirements The Rehabilitation Manager has the responsibility, authority and accountability for the management of their areas of responsibility within Rehabilitation Services Department. The Rehabilitation Manager plans, directs, organizes and oversees all department functions and activities. The Rehabilitation Manager is responsible for customer service, business growth, financial management, employee engagement, quality, and improving community health. Minimum Requirements EducationRequirement dependent on practice areaBachelor's Degree from an accredited occupational therapist education programBachelor's Degree from an accredited physical therapist education programMaster's Degree from an accredited speech-language pathology education programExperienceThree (3) years clinical experience in relevant practice area License/Registration/Certifications Requirement dependent on practice areaSC OT License and registered with NBCOTSC PT LicenseSC SLP License and Certificate of Clinical CompetenceCPR-AHA BLS Preferred Requirements Preferred EducationMaster's Degree from an accredited occupational therapist education programMaster's or Doctorate Degree from an accredited physical therapist education programDoctorate Degree from an accredited speech-language pathology education programMaster's or Doctorate Degree from an accredited education program in Health Care or Business Administration Preferred ExperienceFive (5) years clinical experience, two (2) years leadership experience in relevant practice area Preferred License/ Registration/ CertificationsMembership in State/National Practice AssociationCore Job Responsibilities Adheres to all Standards of Behavior.Applies strategic planning to determine departmental objectives that support the organizational mission and goals.Manages financial resources responsibly and accurately.Takes a proactive approach for identifying and solving challenges.Plans and implements procedures and systems to maximize efficiency.Achieves departmental productivity and quality goals.Creates a comprehensive and sustainable associate engagement strategy.Manages staffing and day-to-day operations of department.Promotes community health initiatives.
