The successful candidate will primarily support the Spartanburg clinic, with occasional cross-coverage at Pelham. Both sites share a unified Aria database, enabling remote support when needed. CyberKnife uses Precision TPS, and BrainLab Elements supports functional and benign conditions.Minimum RequirementsMaster’s degree in Medical Physics from an accredited college or universityGraduate from a CAMPEP-accredited residency programABR board eligibleStrong organizational and communication skillsPreferred RequirementsMaster’s degree or higher in Medical Physics3 years of clinical experience after residency in a robust Radiation Oncology departmentSubstantial Varian TrueBeam experiencePrevious Elekta/Nucletron HDR planning and treatment experienceProficiency in Varian Aria R&V and Eclipse treatment planningABR or ABMP CertificationCore ResponsibilitiesProvide clinical physics support to Radiation Oncology, including oversight of treatment planning and technical aspects of therapyConsult with Radiation Oncologists on special physics procedures and treatment setupsEnsure calibration and functionality of treatment systems per national standards and RTOG requirementsAssist with brachytherapy implants and HDR planningConduct weekly chart reviews and verify treatment deliveryMaintain operating procedures to ensure system reliabilityCollaborate on equipment calibrations and QA per DHEC regulationsSupport technology assessment, acquisition, and implementationParticipate in research protocols and credentialing for external trialsProvide clinical instruction to staff and support departmental quality initiativesProfessional Growth and BenefitsSRHS is committed to continuous learning and innovation.
