Job Overview As a PCT on the Cardiac Neuro ICU, you'll support nurses in caring for critically ill patients with cardiac, neurological, and complex medical needs. You'll assist with hygiene, mobility, vital signs, documentation, and provide compassionate bedside care, including support for patients nearing the end of life. Your steady presence, attention to detail, and calm approach help ensure patients receive safe, high‑quality care during their most vulnerable moments. What You'll Gain Working in the Cardiac Neuro ICU gives you exposure to some of the most complex cardiac, neurological, and multi‑system conditions in the hospital, helping you build strong clinical judgment and hands‑on skills. You'll strengthen vital signs, mobility support, patient monitoring, communication, and learn to recognize subtle changes in patient status in a fast‑paced, high‑acuity environment. What You'll Do * Assist with bathing, oral care, toileting, and linens * Support safe mobility, repositioning, and transfers * Monitor and record vital signs * Document patient information accurately * This role includes exposure to bodily fluids and sensitive patient situations * Safely lift/move up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation About the Cardiac Neuro ICU The Cardiac Neuro ICU is known for teamwork, accountability, innovation and fostering growth in a fast‑paced environment where workflows evolve to meet modern healthcare demands.
