PRN Rehab Tech - Acute/Inpatient Rehab

Job Requirements Position Summary The Rehabilitation Technician is responsible for a variety of patient care tasks under the direction of PTs, PTAs, OTRs, COTAs, and/or SLPs. Responsibilities include cleaning, patient record management, inventory management, and clerical duties. He/she assists other areas of Rehabilitation Services and Wound Center as directed. Other responsibilities may be assigned by the supervisor, manager, or director. Minimum Requirements EducationHigh School DiplomaExperienceThree to six months (3-6) experience in a position which requires contact with thepublicLicense/Registration/Certifications CPR-AHA BLS Preferred Requirements Preferred ExperiencePatience care experience Core Job Responsibilities Adheres to all Standards of Behavior.Completes all patient care assignments within designated timeframes.Demonstrates accurate and safe use of equipment (wheelchairs, stretchers, lift equipment, therapy equipment, etc.) during patient set-up and patient treatment/transfers.Cleans equipment according to departmental policy.Performs ordering, receiving, and distribution of departmental supplies and timely disposal of expired supplies.Assists with a variety of clerical tasks as requested, completing each accurately and in a timely manner.Ensures environment is safe and adheres to quality standards.Attends departmental and hospital committees and meetings.Completes other duties as assigned.
