Job Requirements Job SummaryJob Description:Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Facilities Department. Operations to include the Budgetary Planning, Preventative Maintenance Program, equipment/building repairs, energy plant, supply room and its inventory, compliance with all regulatory agencies and up keep/maintenance of all as built drawings/specifications. Maintains the Main Campus of SRHS, as well as Spartanburg Hospital for Restorative Care. Interacts as appropriate with Life Safety Surveyors and is responsible for maintaining ongoing Building Maintenance Programs (BMP's).Minimum Requirements:Education:Associate Degree in related fieldExperience:5 years in a healthcare settingCertifications:Preferred NOT requiredCertified Healthcare Safety ProfessionalCertified Healthcare Facilities ManagerMEP LicenseJob Core Responsibilities:Must be able to make decisions clearly and quickly.Must be able to deal with the stress and demands of an active position.Must be able to respond calmly and efficiently under all situations.Must be able to withstand long hours of standing, walking, bending, and lifting.Manual dexterity, good eye to hand coordination with adequate vision.Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.Must be able to work as a team member with peers and other departments.Must be able to cope with agitated, hostile customers and respond calmly.
