HVAC CONTROLS SPECIALIST

Summary POSITION SUMMARYPosition Summary:An HVAC Mechanic is licensed or certified in HVACR maintenance and repair. Possesses the ability to troubleshoot and repair HVAC and Refrigeration Equipment at contractor level. Able to read blueprints, technical manuals, and interpret information to complete repairs. Ability to develop reports or instruction manuals. Provides on-call as needed to support 2nd, 3rd, and weekend shifts. Performs other Plant Operating Maintenance duties as necessary and directed.POSITION QUALIFICATIONSMinimum EducationHigh School Diploma or EquivalentCompletion of licensed refrigeration and air conditioning trade school programMinimum ExperienceCompletion of a job training program through an apprenticeship or journeyman programFive years experience in the commercial HVACR fieldRequired Registration/License/CertificationLicensed or certification in HVACValid Kansas driver’s license with clear driving record preferred
