CHAPLAINCY ASSOCIATE

Summary POSITION SUMMARYPosition Summary:Provides professional spiritual care for assigned patients under supervision of director or designate. The person in this position will use spiritual screening tools to determine the need for interventions by chaplaincy staff. Works with director to develop and coordinate a program of chaplain volunteers to assist in the patient screening process.POSITION QUALIFICATIONSMinimum EducationBachelor's degree in theology or religious studies or related fieldsMaster of Divinity or Religious Studies preferredMinimum ExperienceOne unit of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) accredited by the ACPE preferredOne year hospital experience preferredTwo units of Clinical Pastoral Education accredited by ACPE preferred.Required Registration/License/CertificationNone
