Manager of Surgical Services

Under the general supervision of the Director of Surgical Services and in accordance with established policies and procedures for various age groups of patients, this position assists in planning departmental goals and budget. Responsibilities include interviewing, orienting, scheduling, assigning work, and providing guidance to Team Members. The role also involves developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure efficient operations. Strong interpersonal skills are essential to communicate effectively with patients, alleviate concerns, and maintain productive working relationships with surgeons, OR staff, administration, and department team members. The position requires a commitment to performing duties in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of Tampa General Hospital.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Associate's in nursing License/Registration - Issued by Florida or Compact State in Nursing Basic Life Support Certification Advanced Life Support Certification Three (3) years of experience in Surgical Services. One (1) year in a leadership role
