This locums opportunity is focused exclusively on general hepatology and does not include pre- or post–liver transplant care. At the Tampa General Hospital (TGH) Transplant Institute and USF Health, hepatology providers care for a diverse population with complex liver disease, supported by experienced advanced practice providers, multidisciplinary teams, and robust hospital infrastructure. This role is ideal for hepatologists seeking focused inpatient general hepatology work without transplant responsibilities. QUALIFICATIONS:
MD or DO from an accredited School of Medicine Completion of an accredited Internal Medicine residency Fellowship training in Hepatology or Gastroenterology with a hepatology-focused practice Transplant hepatology training is not required Board certified or board eligible per Medical Staff requirements Unrestricted (or eligible) Florida medical license
