Chaplain, Per Diem

Griffin Health is currently seeking a Per Diem Chaplain to join our Spiritual Care and Education Department. The ideal candidate will bring a compassionate, interfaith approach to spiritual care for our diverse patient and staff community and contribute meaningfully to our mission of person-centered care. ### Main Function: The Chaplain will provide Interfaith spiritual care to patients, families, and staff across the hospital under the guidance of the Director of Spiritual Care and Education. Responsibilities include: * Delivering direct spiritual support in a professional and compassionate manner. * Leading and facilitating spirituality and support groups , as well as additional programming as assigned. * Supporting community outreach , program development, and building partnerships within and beyond Griffin Health. * Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of all services provided. * Performing both in-hospital and on-call chaplaincy shifts , including weekends and holidays. * Offering clerical support and demonstrating computer literacy for administrative responsibilities. ### Education: * Bachelor's or Master's degree required. * Two units of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) preferred (other relevant experience will be considered). ### Experience: * Experience in Emergency Department chaplaincy and in diversity & inclusion work is strongly preferred. * Must have experience in: * Crisis Ministry * Interfaith Chaplaincy * Facilitating support and spirituality groups ### Key Attributes: * Compassionate presence and emotional maturity. * Flexibility and willingness to serve in a per diem/on-call capacity , including weekends. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
