Position Purpose: The Regulatory Document Control Specialist is responsible for various activities pertaining to the development, implementation, and management of organizational controlled documents, forms, procedural processes and policies according to ISO 9001 Quality Management System (QMS), DNV Healthcare Accreditation, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, and all other regulatory agencies. The Regulatory Document Control Specialist requires excellent attention to detail to coordinate and maintain the document management system efficiently and correctly. The Regulatory Document Control Specialist provides education and direction to staff and leadership on ISO 9001data management and policy/document control requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Manage the lifecycle of organizational policies, procedures, forms, and controlled documents from creation through approval, revision, publication, and retention. - Maintain document control processes in accordance with ISO 9001 and organizational standards. - Oversee document management system workflows, reviewer assignments, and approvals. - Partner with Information Systems to support electronic document and forms platforms. - Educate and train staff on document control standards, policy management, and system workflows. - Coordinate Document Control and Forms Committee activities. - Support regulatory surveys, accreditation readiness, and compliance initiatives. - Help drive continuous improvement of document management processes across the organization. Qualifications: - Education: Associates degree in related field of study or equivalent experience - Experience: 2 years’ experience in document control Work Requirements: Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management System requirements, DNV NIAHO accreditation, CMS CoPs, certification and other regulatory and licensing standards. Strong proficiency with Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat, document formatting, and processing. Visual acuity; A bility to sit up to 5 hours daily and lift to 25 pounds.
