Title Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) # Urgent Care # Summary Northfield Hospital + Clinics is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our Urgent Care team and#work as a team with other care providers to ensure delivery of premium care to each and every patient.#You#ll provide urgent care services including medical, orthopedic and minor surgical care; treatment for illnesses and injuries; physical examinations; laboratory and x-ray services.## # Compensation We are committed to providing compensation information for all open positions. The wage range for this position is $56.19 # $79.32 per hour. Final compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, education, licensure, and internal equity considerations. # Key Accountabilities Diagnose and treat acute, episodic, or chronic illnesses Order x-rays and labs to assist in evaluating and diagnosing illnesses and injuries Perform comprehensive physical examinations of patients Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities Communicate with collaborating physician or specialist regarding patient care Qualifications Physician Assistant Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program Current Physician Assistant License from the MN State Board of Medical Practice, in good standing Certified as a Physician Assistant by NCCPA Minimum of one year#experience in acute care, family practice, emergency#medicine#or urgent care Nurse Practitioner Master#s Degree in Nursing from an accredited program Current RN license with the Minnesota Board of Nursing, in good standing Current Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Minnesota Minimum of one year#experience in acute care, family practice, emergency#medicine#or urgent care Schedule 64 hours per two-week pay period Two 12-hour shifts (8:30 a.m. # 8:00 p.m.) and one 8-hour shift (8:30 a.m. # 4:30 p.m.) each week Includes an every fourth weekend rotation.
