Assistant Director, Food & Nutrition Services

POSITION SUMMARY:##The Assistant Food # Nutrition#Services Director is a developing department leader with strong clinical nutrition expertise who supports the Director and hospital leadership in the daily execution of Food and Nutrition Services. This position is designed for a Registered Dietitian with approximately three years of clinical nutrition experience and emerging leadership capability. The role assists with clinical nutrition standards, therapeutic diet compliance, patient meal service, food safety, retail and catering support, staff coaching, and operational follow-through. The Assistant Director helps ensure that patients, residents, staff, and visitors receive safe, high-quality, nutritious meals while learning and applying leadership, financial stewardship, human resources, and regulatory management practices under appropriate supervision. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor#s degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, Food Service Management, Hospitality or Healthcare Administration A minimum of three (3) years of Clinical Nutrition experience in a hospital, acute care, long-term care, rehabilitation or medical office setting Registered Dietitian through the American Dietetic Association State of Alaska Dietitian License State of Alaska Food Work Card Certified Dietary Manager (CDM,#CFPP) through the Association of Nutrition and Foodservice Professionals At CPH, we value our employees and offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your well-being and professional growth.
