Position HighlightsDepartment: Hospitalist ServicesHours: 24 hours per week, Part-Time Benefits EligibleMiddlesex Health Hospital Medicine is seeking a part-time night physician to join our dynamic and experienced team. Why Join Middlesex Health?Fair and manageable daily census. Flexible scheduling to optimize work-life balance.Named a Top Workplace in the Hartford Courant for consecutive years.Awarded Healthgrades’ “America’s 100 Best Hospitals” Only health system in New England that is a member of the Mayo Clinic Care Network. Position DetailsThis is a night positionHours are 4p-4a and 7p-7a8 shifts per 4 weeks Clinical responsibilities include admitting, rounding, discharging, consulting with specialists, and attending to RRTs and Codes.Work collaboratively with specialists, which involves pre-operative assessments and co-management of surgical patients.Practice efficiently and effectively in a collaborative, team-based environment. Flexible and responsive to patient needs and unexpected staffing changes.Closed ICU.No procedures required.EMR system is Epic.QualificationsM.D. or D.O. licensed in the state of Connecticut.DEA license and CDS license.Board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine. Experience as an attending hospitalist is preferred.Compensation & BenefitsCompensation includes salary, incentive, and bonus.Benefits, including health, dental, 403(b), and malpractice coverage with tail.CME allowance
