Our unit has thirty two beds. We take care of patients with both surgical and nonsurgical conditions, we care for patients through the nursing process of assessment planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation. Furthermore, our team nurses & patient care techs collaborate with other healthcare professionals for best possible treatment of our patients. Job SummaryJob SummaryProvides basic patient careAssists in the maintenance of a safe and clean environmentTakes and records vital sign (VS) data and relays to patient's nurseProvides general nursing care and routine treatment /proceduresFacilitates processing of patientsProvides clerical receptionist supportProvides Coordinating SupportPerforms additional duties related to the specific needs of the department QualificationsEducationHigh School diploma or equivalent GEDCertification as a nursing assistant or 6 months of recent experience as a nursing assistantExperienceSix (6) months of recent experience as a nursing assistantCurrent certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant or one clinical semester of nursing school or successful completion of an acute care nurse aide course; or six (6) months previous experience in a healthcare position can be substituted for the experience(Above requirements can be met by the equivalent combination of education and experience). Licensure/CertificationBasic Life Support *(BLS) training or re-training is required during orientation prior to providing patient careCurrent Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to be maintained through re-training for duration of employmentCertified Nursing Assistant preferred Schedule7a-7p Work ShiftDay Position TypeRegular Full Time
