This role is responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care while driving program growth, operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and financial stewardship. Working in a collaborative dyad partnership with physician leadership, the Manager leads quality improvement initiatives, supports strategic planning, develops staff, and fosters a culture of teamwork, innovation, and exceptional patient experience. Responsibilities - Provide operational, clinical, and administrative oversight for the Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation departments, ensuring safe, efficient, and patient-centered care delivery. - Partner collaboratively with physician leaders in a dyad leadership model to align clinical, operational, and strategic goals. - Lead departmental quality improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities, implementing evidence-based practices, and monitoring key performance indicators. - Develop and execute strategies to support program growth, improve patient access, and optimize patient throughput. - Establish, implement, and maintain departmental policies, procedures, workflows, and standard operating practices to promote consistency and operational efficiency. - Provide day-to-day leadership, coaching, mentoring, and performance management for rehabilitation team members while fostering employee engagement and professional development. - Build strong collaborative relationships across cardiovascular services and other interdisciplinary departments to promote seamless patient care. - Manage departmental resources, including staffing, equipment, supplies, and operating budgets, ensuring fiscal responsibility and efficient resource utilization. - Champion initiatives that enhance patient satisfaction, customer service excellence, and the overall patient experience. - Support staff education through ongoing teaching, mentoring, competency validation, and professional development opportunities. - Ensure departmental compliance with all applicable regulatory agencies, accreditation standards, organizational policies, and evidence-based clinical guidelines. - Coordinate emergency preparedness training, annual competencies, and required educational programs for all rehabilitation staff. - Oversee staff scheduling, payroll/timekeeping, attendance management, and approval of time-off requests while maintaining appropriate staffing levels. - Represent cardiovascular rehabilitation services in community outreach, educational events, wellness initiatives, and public speaking engagements to promote cardiovascular health. - Collaborate with leadership to develop strategic initiatives that support organizational goals and service line growth. - Participate in committees, leadership meetings, and organizational initiatives as assigned. Qualifications - 2 years of experience working within a cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation setting. - Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities with a proven ability to motivate, coach, and develop high-performing teams. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong interpersonal abilities to effectively collaborate with physicians, staff, patients, and organizational leadership. - Proficiency in quality improvement methodologies and performance improvement principles, including the ability to analyze data, implement process improvements, and measure outcomes. - Experience managing departmental budgets, monitoring financial performance, and effectively allocating resources to support operational goals. - Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive employee, patient, financial, and organizational information in accordance with applicable privacy regulations and organizational policies. - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-stress environment - Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Credentials - BLS and ACLS required Education - Bachelors degree in Exercise physiology, Exercise Science, Respiratory therapy, Nursing, or related field of study. Entry USD $90,916.80/Yr. Max USD $140,920.00/Yr.
