Team Leader Biomed Equipment

We're looking for an experienced Lead for our*Bi* omedical Equipment Team who is passionate about technology, problem-solving, and making a difference in healthcare. In this role, you'll ensure the medical equipment our caregivers depend on is safe, reliable, and operating at peak performance. From troubleshooting and repairing patient care equipment to performing preventive maintenance and supporting new technology installations, you'll play a vital role in keeping our hospital running safely and efficiently. ### What You'll Do * Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and install a wide variety of medical equipment and clinical systems. * Perform preventive maintenance and document all work to meet regulatory and accreditation requirements. * Evaluate malfunctioning equipment and recommend repairs or replacement when needed. * Test and inspect new, leased, and loaned medical equipment before it is placed into service. * Respond to equipment issues and participate in an on-call rotation for emergency service needs. * Collaborate with clinical staff, leadership, vendors, and contractors to support projects and equipment installations. * Maintain accurate records using our maintenance management system (TMS). * Help ensure all equipment meets safety, operational, and regulatory standards. ### What We're Looking For * Associate's degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology or completion of a U.S. Military Biomedical Equipment Technology program. * CBET and AAMI certifications required. * At least 5 years of biomedical equipment experience in a healthcare setting. * Strong knowledge of medical equipment, electronics, networking, and regulatory compliance. * Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. * Ability to communicate effectively with clinicians, vendors, and fellow team members. * A commitment to safety, quality, and exceptional customer service.
