Position Opening: Licensed Practical Nurse

Salary Range: $27.27 - $43.63 per hour based upon union contract

Position Summary: The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) delivers safe, competent, and compassionate care under the supervision of a registered nurse, provider, or physician. In collaboration with the healthcare team, the LPN participates in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care, reflecting the standards of Harbor Regional Health Community Hospital. Within their scope of practice, the LPN provides focused nursing interventions, administers prescribed medications and treatments, monitors patient responses, and documents care accurately. The LPN promotes patient well-being, supports education efforts under RN direction, and acts as a liaison between patients, families, and the care team.

Job Requirements: Current Washington State LPN license; current BLS certification from an approved provider; Previous inpatient, behavioral health, chemical dependency or medical/surgical experience preferred but not required; Demonstrates the ability to provide safe, patient-centered nursing care within the LPN scope of practice under RN supervision; Demonstrates effective communication and collaboration with patients, families, and members of the interdisciplinary team; Maintains competency in withdrawal management, behavioral health, and unit-specific policies and procedures through orientation and ongoing education; Successfully completes all required organizational and unit-specific competencies;
