Non-Certified Sleep Lab Technician - Sleep Lab

DEFINITION: Under the supervision of the Cardiopulmonary Manger, performs and evaluates diagnostic exams utilized to evaluate various sleep disorders. Must be able to provide patient care activities to include adult and pediatric patients.

EDUCATION: As required by the Oklahoma State Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision.

REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS (IF APPLICABLE):

1. Must work directly with a sleep technician that holds at least one of the following credentials: RPSGT, CPSGT, RRT-SDS, CRT-SDS

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

1. High school diploma.
2. Two years working in a healthcare setting.
3. Two years of college with a background in life sciences or behavioral sciences or current student of a polysomnography program.
4. One year of polysomnography experience.
