Join our Team as an Authorization Benefit Specialist I Are you detail-oriented and passionate about helping patients navigate the financial side of healthcare? We're looking for a compassionate, caring, and dedicated Authorization Benefit Specialist I to join our team and help us continue our tradition of excellence. In this role, you'll play an important part in ensuring patients receive the necessary authorization approvals for scheduled outpatient procedures. By working closely with physicians and healthcare teams, you'll help support a seamless patient experience while protecting both patients and the organization from avoidable financial impacts. What You'll Do: * Obtain pre-certifications for scheduled outpatient procedures to support timely care and accurate reimbursement. • Communicate professionally and courteously with physicians and healthcare partners regarding authorization requirements. • Review and process authorization-related information accurately and efficiently. • Utilize strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills to manage multiple priorities. • Support revenue cycle operations while helping ensure a positive patient experience. Education & Experience: * Completion of High School or GED is required. • Two to four years of experience in a physician's office, hospital registration, collection agency, hospital or professional billing, or training at an educational institution that includes medical billing is required.
