In this role, you'll be one of the first points of contact for patients, making a meaningful impact by providing a warm welcome and ensuring a smooth registration experience. As a trusted ambassador of Deaconess, you'll help cultivate a nurturing environment built on courtesy, respect, empathy, dignity, and optimism. What You'll Do: * Greet patients and visitors with professionalism and compassion. * Register patients accurately and efficiently. * Collect payments in accordance with established procedures. * Direct and escort patients to appropriate locations as needed. * Ensure compliance with applicable State and Federal regulations, as well as hospital policies and procedures. * Serve as an ambassador of Deaconess by fostering a positive, patient-centered experience. Education & Experience: * Completion of High School or GED is required. * Knowledge of the health care revenue cycle is preferred. * Understanding insurance is a plus.
