Job Overview Join a highly specialized team where your expertise directly impacts patient outcomes. As an EP Monitor II , you'll play a critical role in delivering exceptional cardiovascular care by providing continuous cardiac rhythm monitoring and interpreting electrophysiological data during both diagnostic and interventional procedures. Working alongside physicians and the multidisciplinary EP team, you'll help identify arrhythmias, accurately document procedural findings, and promote patient safety throughout every case. This is an exciting opportunity to work with advanced cardiac technologies while caring for patients undergoing life-changing electrophysiology procedures. In this role, you will: * Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms during electrophysiology procedures * Assist with both circulating and scrubbing responsibilities in the EP Lab * Support physicians during a variety of diagnostic and interventional procedures, including: * Electrophysiology (EP) Ablations * EP Studies * Pacemaker and Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillator (ICD) implantations * Left Atrial Appendage Occlusion (LAAO) procedures * Accurately document procedural findings and patient care activities * Collaborate with the care team to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes * Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document patient and family education needs * Provide patient education before and after procedures * Maintain flexibility to support staffing needs at both the Midtown and Gateway campuses Qualifications Required Education & Licensure * Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program * Active Indiana Limited Cardiac Catheterization Certificate * Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 6 months of hire * Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 1 year of hire On-Call Requirements This position participates in the on-call rotation and requires the ability to respond within 60 minutes when scheduled for call.
