Works in a variety of settings depending on the needs of the department. Completion of PTCB certification and sterile compounding online certification required for transfer to Tech II Responsibilities 1)Accurately fill medication orders for inpatients 2)Restocking of automated dispensing cabinets 3)Expiration audits and sign off of hospital areas as assigned 4)Inventory management of inpatient stock 5)Computer knowledge of kit check, rx station and IBEX, Dr First,and any others assigned for position 6) Pharmacy environment cleanliness Qualifications 1 year hospital experience preferred or other relevant experience as a medical technician H.S. diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license with no more than 3 moving violations Competencies Skills Essential: * Clear Communication Skills Both Written And Verbal * Knowledge Of Basic Computer Programs * Able To Keep Confidential Information Regarding Patients, Team Members * Able To Withstand Crisis Situations * Has Skills To Provides Customer Service To Patients, Team Members And Visitors * Proof Of Current/Valid Car Insurance * Valid DL With No More Than 3 Moving Violations Credentials Education Essential: * High school graduate or equivalent Entry USD $17.50/Hr. Max USD $27.13/Hr.
