Job Description

Griffin Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Multi-Skilled Technician to join our patient care team. Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), the Multi-Skilled Technician performs and assists with routine and STAT blood draws, electrocardiograms (EKGs), and provides direct patient care support to ensure high-quality, patient-centered service. Essential Responsibilities * Perform routine and STAT phlebotomy procedures accurately and efficiently. * Obtain and document EKGs as ordered. * Assist nursing staff with patient care activities and clinical procedures. * Monitor and report patient conditions or concerns to the supervising RN. * Maintain patient comfort, safety, and dignity at all times. * Ensure proper specimen collection, labeling, handling, and transportation. * Maintain equipment and supplies required for patient care, phlebotomy, and EKG procedures. * Adhere to all hospital policies, safety regulations, and infection prevention standards * Support a collaborative, patient-focused healthcare environment. * *Qualifications * Experience in patient care, phlebotomy, and EKG performance required. * Prior hospital experience preferred. Education * High school diploma or equivalent required. * Current Phlebotomy Certification preferred. * Patient Care Technician certification required Skills & Competencies * Strong interpersonal and communication skills. * Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment. * Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities. * Commitment to providing exceptional patient care and customer service. * Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.
