Job SummaryJob SummaryFacilitates patient throughput and bed assignments.Provides administrative support to the health system in the absence of administration and departmental leaders.Provides Clinical Support for Nursing Units.Staffing ResponsibilitiesServes as liaison to Medical StaffPerforms Utilization Review (UR) of patients admitted through the Emergency Departments (in conjunction with UR department).Professional PracticeServes as a unit representative on teams /committees when requested. QualificationsEducationDiploma or Associate’s degree (ADN) required, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), or Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred.ExperienceThree (3) years minimum medical-surgical and/or critical care. Previous supervisory experience preferred. Two years RN experience will be accepted if the RN has at least 6 months of RN experience within NRHS.(Above requirements can be met by the equivalent combination of education and experience). Licensure/Certification/Registration/ETC.Current Oklahoma Registered Nursing license. Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training is required during orientation prior to providing patient care. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to be maintained thru re-training for duration of employment. Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) training preferred. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) training is required within 6 months of hire. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required to be maintained thru re-training for duration of employment.
