In this position, you will work with a dynamic team in this patient centered facility. The rehabilitation experience at ChristianaCare Health System offers a strong team approach, frequent interdisciplinary interaction, ongoing mentoring, state of the art equipment and professional level educational opportunities.Primary FunctionThe Manager, Rehabilitation Services is responsible for providing strategic leadership, clinical oversight, and operational management for the daily rehabilitation services provided at the Wilmington Rehabilitation Services Outpatient Site. This role ensures the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care while maintaining regulatory compliance, supporting caregiver development, and driving operational and financial excellence across Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech-Language Pathology, and Therapeutic Recreation services.Key ResponsibilitiesClinical LeadershipProvide direct clinical evaluation and treatment services for patients referred to rehabilitation programsEnsure accurate interpretation, documentation, and communication of patient evaluation and treatment outcomesDeliver clinical oversight and guidance to rehabilitation caregivers providing patient carePromote evidence-based practice and advance rehabilitation programming across the organizationFoster excellence in patient experience through compassionate, patient-centered careOperational ManagementDirect the day-to-day operations of Rehabilitation Services, including PT, OT, and SLPMonitor program effectiveness and implement process improvements to enhance quality, efficiency, and patient outcomesProvide leadership for clinical documentation standards, billing compliance, and audit readinessRespond promptly to patient and caregiver concerns, ensuring appropriate resolution and follow-upTalent Management & DevelopmentLead recruitment, interviewing, onboarding, and orientation activities for rehabilitation caregiversAssess caregiver competencies and develop individualized professional development plansManage performance evaluation processes, including quarterly check-ins, merit recommendations, career ladder progression, continuing education oversight, and caregiver engagement initiativesSupport students, volunteers, and academic partnerships while maintaining strong relationships with educational institutionsFinancial & Regulatory OversightManage the fiscal operations and budgetary performance of Rehabilitation ServicesMaintain current knowledge of rehabilitation regulations, standards, and best practicesEnsure compliance with Joint Commission and other accrediting and regulatory agenciesLead departmental readiness activities for surveys, inspections, and accreditation reviewsOversee completion of annual system requirements, including safety training, emergency preparedness, CPR/AED certification, fit testing, and other mandatory education programsQualificationsRequiredBS, MS, or Doctorate in Physical TherapyAt least five (5) years of direct clinical experience in an outpatient rehabilitation settingLicensure or license eligibility in the State of Delaware as a Physical TherapistDemonstrated knowledge of rehabilitation operations, patient care standards, and regulatory requirementsPreferredLeadership or management experience within a rehabilitation or healthcare environmentExperience with Joint Commission, and other regulatory/accreditation standardsProven ability to lead teams, manage change, and drive continuous improvement initiativesWhat Success Looks LikeThe successful candidate is a collaborative and visionary leader who combines strong clinical expertise with operational excellence to foster caregiver engagement, ensure regulatory compliance, and deliver exceptional rehabilitation outcomes for patients and families.ChristianaCare Offers:Incredible Work/Life benefits including medical/dental/ vision insurance coverage on your first day of employment, paid PTO, retirement plans, twelve weeks of paid parental leave, annual membership to care.com, access to backup care services for dependents through Care@Work, retirement planning services, financial coaching, fitness and wellness reimbursement, and great discounts through several vendors for hotels, rental cars, theme parks, shows, sporting events, movie tickets and much more!If you 're inspired to make a difference, we invite you to become a ChristianaCare caregiver!Annual Compensation Range $110,177.60 - $176,280.00This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare’s good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting.
