JOB SUMMARY AND SPECIFICATIONS JOB SUMMARY The ELC # EVS Tech is a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and nurturing environment for young children, staff, and families. This position requires a proactive and dependable individual who understands the importance of sanitation and safety in early childhood settings. The ideal candidate will be attentive to detail, responsive to the needs of the center, and committed to upholding high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Professional # Technical Skills 0-1 year of Environmental Services Technician, preferably in a school or childcare setting. Knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and safe chemical usage. Education High School Diploma or equivalent preferred License(s) or Certification(s) None Other Skills or Requirements Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness. Ability to learn and use computer systems. Must pass a comprehensive background check and meet all licensing requirements for working in a childcare facility. Basic computer skills and ability to follow instructions. May be required to provide a Driver#s License and proof of auto insurance (if applicable). Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, stoop, stand and walk for extended periods with or without accommodation.
