Position HighlightsDepartment: Diagnostic ImagingHours: Full-Time/40 hoursShift: Days, 1st ShiftPosition Summary:The Radiology Facilitator plays a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service while supporting a wide range of responsibilities involving tasks utilizing electronic, digital and PACS technologies. The Radiology Facilitator will schedule outpatient procedures and appointments using EPIC and will work closely with Radiology staff, Supervisors, and Physicians to coordinate Interventional Radiology procedures and other speciality modality procedures. Acting as a liaison and ambassador, the Radiology Facilitator will ensure clear and effective communication between Radiologists, referring physicians, and department staff.Minimum Qualifications: 2 years of scheduling experience in a hospital or medical office facilityHigh School diploma, or equivalentExcellent interpersonal and customer service skillsStrong communication skills both written and verbalWorks independently using professional judgmentTyping and computer knowledge.
