Inpatient PhlebotomistDepartment: Lab Support ServicesHours: 32.00 per weekShift: Shift 1Work Schedule: Two week schedule is: Wednesday 5 am to 11:00 am, Thursday 5 am to 11:00 am, Friday 5 am to 3:30 pm, Saturday 5 am to 3:30 pm , Sunday 5 am to 3:30 pm, Monday 5 am to 3:30 pm and then Wednesday 5 am to 11:00 am and Thursday 5 am to 11:00 am.
Position SummaryThe inpatient phlebotomist is responsible for the collection and processing of specimens for laboratory analysis. A phlebotomist must have good communication skills and a thorough knowledge of laboratory test requirements and departmental policies.
Minimum QualificationsMinimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalentPhlebotomy Certificate preferred or one year’s experienceBasic computer skills Preferred Qualifications:Knowledge of current Laboratory Information SystemsPrevious phlebotomy experience
