Job Requirements Position Summary Perform pick-up and delivery of supplies, mail, equipment, deposits, and laboratory samples as directed. Operate vehicle in a safe manor. Runs out of town deliveries as directed. Minimum Requirements Education HS DiplomaExperience 6 months experience in delivery or courier services License/Registration/Certifications Driver’s LicenseDriving record history must meet the current requirements of the district’s automobile policy. Preferred Requirements Preferred Education N/A Preferred Experience N/A Preferred License/Registration/Certifications N/A Core Job Responsibilities Pick-up, transport and deliver all assigned packages, supplies, mail, and laboratory items to their destination in accordance with pick-up and delivery schedules. Operate vehicle in a safe manner in all weather conditions and traffic conditions. Physical Requirements Must be able to withstand the stress and demands of an active position.Must be able to withstand many long hours of standing, walking, stooping, bending, and sitting.Must be able to operate motor vehicle for the duration of the workday, in various weather conditions, and during all times of the day to include night time, day time, sunrise and sunset.Must be able to lift or move 50 pounds of equipment or supplies.Manual dexterity, good eye-hand coordination and adequate vision needed in daily workMust be able to respond calmly and efficiently in crisis situations.
