Job Description
**Valley View is seeking a PRN Patient Services Specialist to float between our clinics!** **** **Responsibilities ****include** providing patients and physicians with professional and friendly reception duties; organizing patient flow; keeping physicians and patients on schedule; maintaining patient files and accounts in a professionally accurate manner; and handling phone calls for the office manager, physicians, and nurses appropriately. The Registrar also assists with all billing and collection efforts as necessary and in a timely manner. Patient care background preferred. **QUALIFICATIONS** * High school diploma or equivalent * Clerical: typing, filing, scheduling, computer, phone * Exceptional customer service skills required. * Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment * Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. * Receptionist/clerical experience required. * Patient care background preferred. * Experience in a clinical setting highly preferred. **SALARY** * Entry salary dependent upon education, skill set, and experience. * Wage range: **$19.00 - $27.75/hour + 14% PRN Differential Pay** **BENEFITS** * Retirement plans 401(a) and 403(b) plans * Employee Assistance Program * **_Annual Bonus_** to eligible PRN employees based upon organizational and individual performance. * Employee discount on Valley View Medical Services * Use of Sunlight and Aspen SkiCo day passes **APPLICATION SUBMISSION END DATE** This position will be open for a minimum of three days and until a top applicant is identified. **About us** Valley View is an independent, nonprofit health system based in Glenwood Springs, Colorado, comprised of a 78-bed hospital and 17 physician clinics from Glenwood Springs to Aspen and Eagle to Grand Junction.
