Our values ask for a deeper level of commitment, and what is asked of us we freely give because we believe in our mission.RequiredQualifications:High School DiplomaFive (5) years of Administrative, Secretarial, or Clerical experienceKnowledge of Windows Based Software (with Emphasis on Word, Excel, and Outlook)Superior Writing SkillsSelf-Directed, Detail-Oriented, and Devoted to AccuracyExceptional Interpersonal Communication SkillsExcel database management skillsPreferredQualifications:Five (5) years of Administrative, Secretarial, or Clerical experience in a healthcare settingDuties and Responsibilities:Coordinate meeting schedulesAttend meetings as requested; prepare materials, set-up, and closureTake, transcribe, file and distribute minutes in a timely mannerMaintain up-to-date standards and knowledge of administrative procedures and healthcare issues through review of accurate publications, workshops/seminarsAssist in day to day activities of Finance to ensure efficient workflow and operationsCommunicate effectively with Executive Assistants, Senior Leadership and other administrative staff to assist in daily operationsStock SuppliesMaintain Petty Cash Drawer, distribute, replenish and reconcile monthlyGather information for preparation of general and liability insurance renewals and submit in a timely mannerGather information and complete various surveys for the hospital in a timely mannerReview for accuracy and prepare check requests for physician directorships- track monthly paymentsReview for accuracy all check requests requiring CFO signatureWork with Accounts Payable weekly to insure all checks issued match check registersWork with Physicians to obtain completed malpractice applications, submit, track and distribute in a timely fashionAssist during financial audits with independent public accountantsPublish meeting materials for Investment Committee and Finance Committee through Directors Desk SoftwareMaintain filing system; to include hospital contracts, physician contracts, managed contracts and property filesEach employee is responsible for implementing SJRMC’s Service Standards into their daily work:Safety, Courtesy, Effectiveness, and StewardshipOther duties as assignedPhysical Demands and Environmental Work Conditions:Fast-paced work environmentHigh level of activity with many interruptionsMinimum liftingSitting for extended periods of timeExtensive computer usageRepetitive motions such as: wrist/hand movements for typing, writing, faxing, scanning, and filing (may be required)
