This role leads treasury staff, manages treasury technology and banking operations, and drives process improvements that promote accuracy, organization, and operational excellence. The manager also supports treasury related projects, contributes to technology modernization, and collaborates with internal and external financial partners. This position reports to the Director of Treasury.What You Bring to the TableEducational BackgroundBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related fieldProfessional Experience5+ years of treasury, banking, or cash management experienceExperience leading teams and developing staffStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesStrong communication skills and experience working with internal and external stakeholdersDemonstrated project management ability with exposure to cross functional initiativesExtra Skills That Set You ApartExperience in a healthcare or multi entity organizationExperience with tax exempt debt and post issuance complianceExperience using Treasury Management SystemsFamiliarity with Loomis SmartSafe, cash recyclers, or large scale cash automation solutionsExperience managing relationships with multiple banks and financial institutionsWorking knowledge of EPIC cash management or enterprise revenue cycle integrationCertification such as Certified Treasury ProfessionalWhat You Will Lead and DeliverTreasury Operations and Cash ManagementOversees daily cash positioning, liquidity forecasting, and cash reconciliation across facilities and entitiesManages enterprise cash processes including patient payments, deposits, and centralized treasury functionsOptimizes use of Loomis SmartSafes, cash recyclers, and cash handling technologyResearches, selects, and implements Treasury Management Systems to support automation and accuracyMaintains relationships with multiple banking partners to ensure quality service and competitive pricingBanking and Treasury TechnologyLeads implementation and integration of treasury technology including TMS modules, banking portals, SmartSafe networks, and cash automation toolsOversees lockbox operations, ACH origination, merchant services, and controlled disbursementPartners with IT and Revenue Cycle to maintain accurate interfacing and reconciliation between EPIC cash management and treasury systemsTax Exempt Debt and ComplianceOversees post issuance compliance for all tax exempt debtMaintains required documentation including private use analyses, arbitrage rebate calculations, and disclosure filingsCoordinates with internal teams and external advisors to ensure proper use of bond financed assetsUpdates policies and procedures to support long term compliance and audit readinessLeadership and Staff DevelopmentLeads, mentors, and develops treasury team membersEstablishes performance goals, training plans, and professional development opportunitiesPromotes a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvementProject Management and Process ImprovementLeads treasury projects including technology upgrades, bank transitions, and automation initiativesDocuments policies, process maps, and internal controls for audit support and operational consistencyIdentifies opportunities to streamline treasury workflows and improve efficiency across the systemCompliance, Controls, and ReportingEnsures compliance with internal controls, applicable regulations, and systemwide financial policiesPrepares treasury reports, dashboards, and forecasting tools for senior leadershipSupports internal and external audits with documentation, analysis, and control testingTake the Next StepIf you are ready to lead impactful financial operations, strengthen treasury processes, and drive excellence across Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System, we encourage you to apply today.
