The Foundation plays a crucial role in ensuring SRHS can continue to deliver high-quality, compassionate care while responding to the evolving needs of the communities it serves.Position SummaryReporting directly to the Senior Director of Operations, the Senior Financial Analyst I – Foundation is a key contributor to the financial integrity and strategic success of the SRHS Foundation. This role applies generally accepted accounting principles to perform complex financial analysis, reporting, and budgeting functions. The analyst will manage financial records for all grants, collaborate with departments across SRHS, and identify opportunities for process improvement.This position requires a detail-oriented, analytical thinker who can translate financial data into actionable insights and support the Foundation’s mission to enhance healthcare access and outcomes in the community.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare financial schedules, journal entries, reconciliations, and reportsDevelop and maintain workpapers for assigned areas of responsibilityAnalyze and document business requirements to improve financial processesOversee budgets and financial reporting for all Foundation-managed grantsCollaborate with SRHS departments to maintain accurate grant financial recordsIdentify areas for operational and financial improvementEnsure compliance with accounting standards and internal policiesSupport the development and execution of strategic financial initiativesPerform other duties as assignedMinimum RequirementsEducation:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldExperience:Minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting experiencePreferred QualificationsEducation:Master’s degree in Accounting or related field (e.g., Master of Accountancy or MBA)Experience:5–10 years of accounting experience, preferably in healthcare or nonprofit sectorsLicensure/Certifications:CPA or related certificationCore CompetenciesAttention to detail and dependabilityCritical thinking and problem-solvingInitiative and results orientationSelf-management and accountabilityStrong interpersonal and communication skillsRelationship-building and influencingCustomer service mindsetJoin UsIf you are a strategic financial professional with a passion for community impact and operational excellence, we invite you to apply and help us advance the mission of the Spartanburg Regional Foundation through the power of financial stewardship.
